All accoustic pianos (other than electronic/digital) need to be tuned regulary, regardless of how much they cost to buy.    Manufacturers often recommend tuning at about six month intervals but many people find once a year satisfactory.    Much depends on the piano itself, how often it is used and the envirnment it is in.
